lost...for a moment.

The music swelled inside her chest, filling it with numerous emotions she could not distinguish. Closing her eyes, her body began to sway. Side to side, slowly and with out any inherit concern for those around. Almost involuntarily, she begins to sing; releasing into the air the emotions from within.
Embracing the song, she lost all relationship with the present. She had become one with the timeless melody, instantaneously floating through memories and aspirations.

The horn honked; she opened her eyes. Self-conciously, she waved and drove through the intersection....resuming to the ways things were.
